I mean I’m not a slide pro but these do what I need them to. I definitely can say they don’t “poke” or “stab” your feet. You can feel a bumpy surface which I do not complain about it’s just better traction when in the shower.

I don't normally order this type of foot wear, BUT my flip flops that I wear only at the pool are ready to be tossed any day, so I decided to try something different. The sandal is very soft and comfortable. I have been wearing them around my house with socks, which helps with the looseness. I will only be using them at the pool, so they will work for what I bought them for. The bottom treads are good to help with slipping and the holes will be good for use in the shower. I wear 7-7.5 in US sizes and 37 in Birks. I ordered the 39-40 size and they fit my feet perfectly length-wise, but the shape around the pinky toe joint feels a little weird. Like, it doesn't widen like other shoes (like birks) do. The shoes are still comfortable, though, and I wear these as house slippers. I needed something opened toed and breathable and not fabric so my cat wouldn't rip it up.
