You can definitely dress it up or down (as long as it is long enough on you). The sleeves around the wrist fit a little bit loose. There are also a few strings that have to be cut. This dress is really snug and will show off any roll you have. I\'m 5\'6, 135 pounds, usually wear a 34 C or D and a size three dress. I ordered this in a medium (was too small) then reordered it in a large. Still definitely snug.I have a pretty flat stomach and it still made me a little self conscious.
