The material is nice, almost has a spandex outside and fleece like inside, I am 5\'2 ordered a medium and it was very long on me, it went at least halfway down my calves, the mid section was also large.

I really like the dress. I bought dark green and red. I give it a four just because its a bit tight on me. It\'s the type of material. Yes you can wear with a waist band. I will return it and possibly get large and ill still wear a waist band anyway. I rather be comfortable than worrying about the way it looks. I\'m 5\'6 and about 135lbs. My usual waist size-29. I am in love with this dress! I ordered a size small and it fits be absolutely perfectly! Its just as snug as I like it and fits around my curves nicely. It\'s also not too short so I don\'t have to constantly pull it down.The material reminds me of a fleece sweater, it\'s really soft on the inside! So it\'s thick, and definitely not see through. Worth the money for sure.
