This dress is as advertised. The material isn\'t super thin but not heavy either. I\'m 5\'8 190lbs (muscular, broad build) and I ordered a Large. With spanx I could wear it with confidence, It\'s just too snug around my lower abdomen for me to really feel comfortable wearing out - an XL would\'ve been better for where I\'m at now but I bought it smaller on purpose as I\'m still losing weight (110lbs down and counting) and my goal is to fit into this perfectly by Christmas. ok , the only reason I gave 4 stars because dress is kinda large :( but very beautiful. Now I have to send it back to small size. I am 135, 34 ddd and size M was too big. Especially fabric is very strachy so I think size S will fit me better . Usually I wear S-M or 6-8
